Daniel Perez, Associate Professor in Surgery, University MedicaI Center Hamburg, Germany will give an introduction to robotic colorectal cancer surgery.
During the webinar a criticalappraisal of robotic colorectal cancer surgery including robotic total mesorectal excision (TME) and robotic colectomy will be discussed.
The robotic technique will be presented during the presentation with sequences of operative videos.
We will also discuss the key scientific evidence currently available in the literature. Intraoperative, postoperative, functional and long –term oncologic outcomes will be presented and compared between open, laparoscopic and robotic techniques.
